Johanna Hofmann, MBA, MAc, LAc

Johanna has been practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1996. She is a graduate of the Northwest Institute of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NIAOM), with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and a Certificate in Herbal Studies. Originally a native of Bavaria, Germany she has lived in the US for the past 30 years.

She stumbled across TCM many years ago, when a friend had to find an alternate treatment for a medical condition.  At the time she was employed at a large corporation, working in Information Technology. She decided to change careers and returned to school for the study of TCM.

Since her graduation, she has been in private practice in a number of different clinic settings. She has taught TCM and related subjects, both at NIAOM and at Bastyr University, Kenmore TCM program.
